You know lots of great things about SF - come put your knowledge where others can benefit from it!
We're having a day of writing and collaborative research, and we want your contributions.
Check out localwiki.net/sf - that's where we'll be sharing what we know about the city, and learning what we don't. LocalWiki is an open, collaborative platform for sharing everything that you know about your community. During this event, we'll be focusing on all the ways you can communicate with the government - about policies, tenant rights, and much more! If you've worked for the government or used government services, you definitely have the knowledge and stories to share (and just remember, if you've gone to a park, taken public transit, or even walked down the street - you've used government services!).
Contributing is easy, and we'll have helpers available to guide you. You can bring your computer or tablet, or find someone to share with. We'll have child care available, just let us know you need it when registering.
Lunch will be provided.
